Over 100 Registrants. January Hours and Rates

We now have over 100 registered skaters since December 19th!
Thank you to all the riders and fans for your support.

Hours: Thurs: 5–9 pm, Fri: 5–10 pm, Sat: 1–9 pm, Sun: 1–5 pm
Admission: $5 before 5 pm, $3 after 5 pm
Passes: 15 Visit- $45 , Seasonal- $100
Helmets: Rental- $2 , Purchase- $30
Food/Beverages: Chips/Chocolate Bars- $1, Pop/Juice/Water- $1
Under 18 yrs old: Bring your parent or legal guardian to sign the waiver

Grand/Public Opening-Waivers and Helmets

Yesterdays’ Public Opening was a success! At least 40 skaters showed up, which is great considering that everyone’s busy with the holidays. You’ll notice that I wrote “Public Opening”. The official “Grand Opening” will be next year with members of the Elim Community Christian Centre.

I made a short video, which mainly has footage from Dec 12 and Dec 18.
Yesterday was too busy for filming, but expect more videos soon.

Grand Opening Postponed to December 19th

You may have heard that the Grand Opening was postponed by a week to December 19th. The main reason was due to insurance, which is a slow and complicated process, especially for indoor skateparks. We appreciate your patience and support. Also, we’d like to apologize again to the individuals that came to the skatepark today.

Everyone may skate for free on the Grand Opening, but donations will be appreciated. Bring a helmet since there are a limited amount of rentals available.

We are going to take one more week than originally planned to make sure that everything is set for our Grand Opening. The Grand Opening of The Sanctuary Skatepark will be on Saturday, December 12th. Stay tuned for more information.

Park Layout Design

We are finished building all of the frames and will be putting the plywood and masonite on this weekend. The design has been basically finalized. Check out the new photo.
